This screen is where most of the Task Detail and information is entered.

Client & Job Details

The selected client and job details are displayed in this panel.

Client Task Summary

This link will open the Client Task Summary Report.

View Client

To view and/ or update  the clients details click on this link.

View Job

To view and/ or update  the job details click on this link.

Google Map Distance

If the Job has Geo Location set against it then the Task will display the estimated distance to the site location.

Estimated Time

The user can set how much time they estimate how long the task will take to complete.
This is a guideline and TaskTrak will not prevent users from adding time entries to the task if they exceed the estimate.

Total From Sub Tasks

The Estimate can generate a total from all sub tasks assigned to the task and their estimate value.

Task Locked

A task can be locked. This will prevent users from being able to edit the estimated time, and from adding sub tasks to the task.

Start Time

The user has options for setting the start date for the task.

Due Date

This setting allows users to set when the Task is due to be completed.
If Task Expiry is enabled in the TimeTrak Admin Console then the user can also set the Task to Expire and once that date/ Time has been reached,  the Job Manager will be notified.

Assigned To

Select the User to assign the task to.

Group

Select the group for the user. A user can belong to more than one group and a piece of work might belong to a specific group.

Task Title

Each Task will need a title which tends to be a quick explanation of the type of work to be done.

Description

The Description for the Task usually is much more detailed for the user to work from. Users can also select a Standard Narration and Add a Task Log.

Client Contact

Select the main client contact for the task.

Task Priority

Select the Priority of the work against this task.

Task Type

Select the Task Type of the task.

Task Category

Select the Category of the task.

Task Status

As work is done against the task the status of the task can be updated to reflect this.

Set Billable Status

The Billable status of the task needs to be set here. All time entries against this task will default to this status.
If the user has permissions to alter the status on the Time Entry then they can change this.

Actual Complete

Users will manually set this on the task if there are no sub tasks or against the sub task.
This will take the completion values from the sub tasks to show the percentage of task completion.

Order No.

Each Task can have it's own order number.
This Order Number will pull into any time entries against the task.

Save

Click to Save the Task.

Save & Email

Click to Save and then email the user and client notification of the Task Creation.

Job Sheet

Bring the Job Sheet to the screen for printing.

Generate Appointment

Tick this option to create an appointment automatically from the tasks start date/time to the due date date/time.
