Task Type - Questions

These questions are only visible in TimeTrak Client Portal and can be pulled into the task creations questions.

Add

Click here to Add a new question against the task type.

Edit

Edit an existing question.

Delete

Remove a question from the task type.

Copy

Users can copy a question and modify it as required.

Question - Name

Give the question a meaningful name.

Question - Type

Select the type of answer you require for the question. Your options are:
Text - A single line of text, can contain letters and numbers.
Text (multiple lines) - Multiple lines of text, can contain letters and numbers.
Yes|No - Asks for a 'Y' or 'N' result.
Drop down list - users will need to enter in the available options in the Source Field and clients will need to select one option.
SQL Drop down list - users can enter in a SQL statement with fields which can be selected and clients will need to select one option.

Question - Label Text

This is the label that the client logged into the TimeTrak Client Portal would see when creating a task.

Question - Validation Text

If there is validation required for a field then please enter in the message the client would see when their response does not match the validation.
Example: Incorrect email address - Please enter in a valid email address.

Question - Validation

If the field requires validation enter in this field what criteria the field needs to meet. Right click on the small icon to select a validation option.
Example - Mobile Number [1-9]

Question - Text Position

Select which side of the screen text should appear on.

Question - Required Field

Tick this on if the client is required to respond to the question.

Question - Task Log

Tick this on if a task log is to be created with the question and response against the Task in TimeTrak.
