Database Connections

 
Set up the TimeTrak database connection first within the left table and once that is completed you can set up the MYOB Exonet database connections within the right table.

Connection Name

Enter a meaningful name for the connection

Connection Type

Enter in the connection details for the TimeTrak database.

SQL Server Name

Enter in the SQL server instance name.

Authentication Type

Select either SQL or  Windows Authentication.

User ID

Enter in the user ID for the SQL server instance.

User password

Enter in the user password for the SQL instance.

TimeTrak Database

From the drop down list select the TimeTrak database.

List Databases

Check here to list all available databases.

Test Connection

Click here to check that the connection is successful.

Connection Type

Enter in the connection details for the MYOB Exo database below.

SQL Server Name

This field will automatically populate if the MYOB Exo database is on the same SQL instance as the TimeTrak Database.

Authentication Type

This field will automatically populate if the MYOB Exo database is on the same SQL instance as the Timetrak database.
Otherwise select with SQL or Windows authentication.

User ID

This field will automatically populate if the MYOB Exo database is on the same SQL instance as the Timetrak database.
Otherwise enter in the user ID for the SQL instance.

User Password

This field will automatically populate if the MYOB Exo database is on the same SQL instance as the Timetrak database.
Otherwise enter in the user password for the SQL instance.

MYOB Exo Database

Select the MYOB Exo Database.
 
Once the connection is set up you can log into the TimeTrak Administrator Console.

Create TimeTrak Database

If this is a new installation then the Exosoft Consultant will setup the TimeTrak Database.
If this is for a evaluation of Timetrak users can also set up the TimeTrak database.
Click on the Create TimeTrak Database link.
